The Three Rivers

In the year of our Lord, 813, a great horror was born to the land of Corinthia. Three wise men :} followed a beckoning star, that led them to a stable :}. They tried to convince the people present that they must destroy the new born? they were driven from the lands never to be heard again.

It is now the year 878, and the people of Corinthia are ruled by a sinister villain. Feared by her powerful magic and the ominous threat of her minions, specifically Tignar the great Red Dragon, their lives are nothing.

It was 30 years ago Bramar came to power. Since then she has ruled the land with a twisted mind the like none have ever seen. Soon after she began her reign she also began the construction of her great fortress "Three Rivers", which would take ten years to complete. She would be protected from all that would try to over-through her. In that time many had tried but were defeated by the great evil power that flows within her veins.

On one occasion a group of adventures, hired by the local populous, had Bramar beaten to the ground. Then, in a shattering explosion of light, she was gone. The brave adventures had lost their leader in the blast. They knew there task was not complete and without their leader they would most likely fail. They decided to send messengers off to their home lands to request reinforcements. Knowing that this would take some time, they would have to delay the completion of the fortress. Before they had time to regroup Bramar launched a counter offensive, but this time she had enlisted the aid of Tignar, a great Red Dragon. With her magic and Tignars ferocity the adventures were defeated.

Today the survivors of that great battle are mere peasants, as is the rest of Corinthia. "?If only the messengers had gotten to our lands" explained Edgar to his son Tormas. Edgar was once a powerful mystic, but his power was taken from him at the battle of the Three Rivers. Little did he know but his lost power was flowing strong in the body of his son Tormas. Tormas, "Fear not father for I have seen an image? Several small groups of heroes are traveling this way." Edgar, "What! How? Bramar had stolen my gift and none of my children would ever?". Interrupts Tormas, "Father I must travel outward to meet with them. They need to know that a direct assault on Three Rivers will only meet with their defeat." Edgar states, "Take this with you?" handing his son several vials of liquid, "?it will aid them in their quest." Are you brave enough to save Corinthia? Do you think it is time for Bramar to retire? And what of the great Red Beast, Tignar? Come find the answers to these questions, and bring back the once harmonious life that Corinthians once lived.
