I hope everybody is recovered from their fly bites, because here come the multi day games back to back!
Fantasy Adventure '96
Game Report
This year was the best yet, in my opinion, with over two hundred scouts present you did not have to go far to run into one of their teams. Our new and improved quests went over well once we made sure everybody had their copy with th em. The food as usual was fantastic, and all in all it was a great day. So this is what royalty gets treated like! For all of you who managed to get away for the day here is some icing for your cake!

Game Proposals
June 27th
The Board will be taking proposals for games to be run in the last half of the year (August - December). We also have a unique opportunity in august, we have Camp Harris (the scouts camp) booked for the labour day weekend in august, that is the last weekend of the month, Friday to Monday. So it is possible to have the first ever FOUR day game. Or possibly we could have two, two day games and you could improve your character after the first one. Naturally this will be discussed in gr eater detail at the Board meeting on June 27th at Steve Zahn's around 8pm. Anyone with an idea about a game or if you just want to see the inner machinations of Fieldtrip, please stop by!
Journey to Godsrealm
Game Report
by Chantal Boudreau
Genimus stepped past the Dragon King and into Godsrealm, as he began to grow, swelling with his newfound power and strength, he was welcomed as the newest of the gods, one who was destined to have many followers. Meanwhile, Cantrell a raised the dead and healed the wounded before Hullaballoo could awake and summon more minions. She then opened the gate back to the mortal plane, so the mortals could return before she, Battran, and Hullaballoo went on to Godsrealm.
Most of the mortals were happy to have magic back, but the humans and halflings still lamented their missing magic. Soulsbane and Dr. Viscerus were prepared to continue the attempt to get back their powers, and Energia's followers, save Tiberius, still burned with the desire to get their revenge for Energia's death. Lastly, Dagramar left to return to his zoo, with his two new "exhibits" a unicorn, and a "bask-ilisk" who was newly annointed as one of Cantrella's High Priests.
All in all, despite some disappointment, most left the Waiting Place somewhat satisfied. Magic thrives in Arith once again, and the creatures of Myth and Magic roam the realm once more!

The +3 points were awarded for those drivers who opted for points over the $5.00 rebate on their game fee. Oh, and no Chantal is not being greedy giving herself 8 pts, that is the standard award for a one-day game, you get 12 pts fo r GMing a multi-day game. These values were set by the Board because some GM's found it hard to award themselves points.
Upcoming Game - July 26 to 28th
"Ramart's Revenge"
by Brad Fillipone
Eighteen years have passed since that eventful day on which Queen Emilia of Worthania was born. No one in all these years has heard any news of Ramart, the man who once attempted to take over the entire kingdom.
The story is well known, how Ramart tricked the late king Batoch IX into swearing that Ramart would inherit the kingdom should all of the royal family die off. Batoch was not worried, his family was large. But then, one by one, the members of the royal family began to mysteriously die off, ending with Batoch himself, mere hours before the birth of Emilia, his daughter. This child represented Worthania's final hope.
Today, eighteen years later, Worthania is preparing for a great celebration. Emilia is about to come of age, her birthday being just days away. She will have her coronation and will finally receive full control of her kingdom. Also occurring at this propitious moment is the Convention of Nations (CON), this annual event is where the leaders of the Seven Nations meet to discuss their various concerns. This year the convention is to be held in Worthania and it coincides with Emilia's birthday. There are expected to be more than a few foreign princes vying for Emilia's hand in marriage.
However, troubling rumours have been spreading, Ramart may be "crashing" the party. Also, the Golden Arrow, Ramart's only true weakness, went suspiciously missing just a few years ago. In anticipation of troubles, Croymin, the great mage, has cast a spell of protection on Emilia. Now no one can commit any action intended to harm the queen in any way. Naturally there is a way to dispel this magic, but Croymin isn't talking. Furthermore, he has just "disappeared" without a trace.
Will Queen Emilia survive her coronation? Will Ramart get his long waited revenge? If Emilia survives, who if anyone will she marry? If you burn for these answers and more there is only one way to find out .......!
If you are into a good game of political intrigue, and more roleplaying than skullbashing, this is the game for you! This will be a participant game, power levels to be announced. If you are interested please contact Brad Fillipone (445-2786), or send us an E-Mail with your name, phone# and/or E-Mail address.
